How does Short Stay parking work?

Booking is quick and easy. Follow these 4 steps:

  1. Book in advance: Short Stay parking at London Stansted Airport is pre-booking only, so remember to book your space in advance.
  2. Park up: Our Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system will recognise your vehicle and open the barrier (if your car park has barrierless entry, just drive straight through). Find a space, park up, and lock your vehicle.
  3. Walk to the terminal: No need for a shuttle bus. All the Short Stay car parks are within easy walking distance to the terminal, for a quick route to check-in. Getting from your car to the terminal couldn't be simpler, helping you begin your journey with minimal fuss.
  4. When you return: Find your vehicle right where you left it. The ANPR system will recognise your number plate and open the barrier again when you leave, so you can just drive away.
